Role Description
We’re now looking to expand our finance function at Elektron’s Gothenburg HQ. As our new Senior Accountant, you’ll take full responsibility for our accounting with support from Finance Assistant and CFO.
This is a varied role where you’ll work hands-on with everything from monthly closings to annual reports. Apart from this you are expected to improve and develop existing processes, while maintaining a sharp focus on the impact of your work — both short and long term.
With that said; we’re looking for someone who’s eager to evolve, take ownership, and leave a lasting mark on both their own path and Elektron’s success story.
Key responsibilities:
- Responsibility for the accounting in our Swedish entity
- Monthly and annual closings
- Annual reports
- Drive efficiency improvements within the finance team, and across other business processes linked to our ERP system
- Act as super user for our SAP system
- Support our Finance Assistant during peak periods
Required skills:
- A completed degree in finance or accounting
- Minimum 3-5 years of qualified accounting experience
- Fluent Swedish and English, spoken and written
- Excellent skills in Office, especially Excel
- Solid systems experience — you’ll work primarily in SAP
Valued skills:
- Experience with group accounting/consolidation
- Knowledge of cloud-based SAP ERP
